Company Description
Zayo’s journey has been guided by an aspirational vision for connectivity. Our founders were veterans of the companies that constructed the earliest backbone of the Internet. We are seeking a senior accountant to help drive a phased, selective migration of the accounting function from the US, as part of the establishment of a new, independent, European finance operations department.

- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
- Provide critical support to the accounts payable and receivable teams, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Monitor cost control measures and contribute to financial efficiency strategies.
- Utilize ERP systems and financial software to enhance reporting and financial processes.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants and finance team members.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within the telecommunication sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite, Oracle Fusion are preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
