We are seeking an experienced Payroll Generalist to manage and coordinate payroll operations across multiple countries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing in partnership with external payroll vendors. This role requires a deep understanding of global payroll compliance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate international payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.
Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, Legal) and external payroll providers in each region.
Collect, validate, and submit payroll inputs (e.g., salaries, bonuses, benefits, commissions, taxes, etc.) to payroll vendors in a timely manner.
Review and reconcile payroll outputs and reports from vendors, ensuring accuracy and completeness before final approval.
Ensure all payroll changes (e.g., new hires, terminations, salary changes) are captured and processed correctly.
Monitor and manage payroll calendars, deadlines, and schedules for each country.
Assist with year-end reporting, audits, and statutory filings in collaboration with local providers and finance teams.
Maintain and update payroll process documentation and country-specific guidelines.
Support implementation and improvement of payroll systems, processes, and automation initiatives.
Stay current on changes to international labor laws, taxation, and compliance regulations.
Handle and resolve employee payroll queries, ensuring a high level of customer service.
