Job Summary
• This role is responsible for managing a team of individual contributors while evaluating their performance, developing resource-efficient business plans, and aligning goals with the organization’s overall sales objectives. The role nurtures customer relationships by promptly addressing customer challenges and integrating feedback for product and service improvements. The role stays updated on industry trends, provides continuous training, and leverages technology to enhance sales efficiency.
Responsibilities
• Sets clear and achievable sales goals for the team in alignment with the organization's overall sales objectives.
• Develops targeted business plans and strategies for resource allocation, collaborating with internal teams to prioritize and direct resources effectively to drive sales activities and achieve profitable margins.
• Cultivates and maintains strong customer relationships, particularly with key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
• Seeks and integrates customer feedback to drive enhancements in products and services, thereby refining the sales process for overall customer satisfaction.
• Manages account planning while maintaining a sales pipeline to ensure a continuous flow of opportunities to meet revenue goals.
• Monitors and assesses individual and team performance, utilizing key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success.
• Stays abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, enabling the adaptation of sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Delivers continuous training and development programs to empower the sales team with enhanced product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.
• Conducts regular sales meetings to address challenges and share best practices while keeping the team informed, aligned with goals, and motivated.
• Leverages sales technology and tools to enhance efficiency and productivity within the sales process, staying updated on emerging solutions.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, business management, project management, or a related field.
