We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a well-established team responsible for managing the day-to-day release and change activities to support the company’s Technology roadmap.
This position is a maternity cover.
The Change and Release Analyst oversees the processes related to the planning, coordination, and implementation of changes and software releases across our Production estate. They ensure that changes are delivered efficiently, minimize disruptions, and adhere to established policies and procedures. The role includes participation in the daily Change Advisory meetings, acting as a dedicated change owner of one or more solution areas.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Plan, support, schedule, and manage the deployment of software releases and changes across our Production estate for one or more solution areas
· Work with all cross-functional teams to support and coordinate Production releases
· Actively manage and mitigate cross-team release dependencies
· Identify and mitigate release related risks to ensure operational visibility to protect the Production environment and its services during the release and implementation of change.
· Review the completeness and quality of change requests against pre-determined criteria
· Support with identifying continuous change and release process improvements and provide suitable recommendation
· Assist with reviewing all Production change requests in accordance with the Fourth Change Management process
· Ensuring compliance with the Change Management process
· Assisting internal stakeholders with the Change process with process queries and support
· Provides Change and Release support for Enterprise customers
· Analyse release trends and publish release reports to wider stakeholders
· Manage release and change communication for internal and external stakeholders
· Support the planning and execution of all Change and Release Management training across Technology and Supporting Teams
Required Skills and Experience:
· Fluent English (written and spoken)
· Enterprise Change Management experience, preferably with ITIL v3 certification
· Knowledge/ experience around (CAB) Change Advisory Board
· Knowledge/ experience around software development lifecycle (SDLC)
· Experience in implementing and promoting release best practices
· Ability to analyse the release process and drive improvements
· Strong understanding of deployment strategies
· Solid working experience of Quantity Assurance best practices
· Advanced usage of ITSM tools like ServiceNow, Zendesk, JIRA or similar platforms to manage changes, releases, and workflows
· Working knowledge of Agile development practices
