Position Background:

The principal Computer Scientist is providing to the Data Scientists as well as the users of our solutions, support in developing advanced and scalable algorithms. The algorithms are used in the area of channel inventory optimization, supply allocation and order releases, machine learning forecasting, competition segmentation but also in speeding up and optimizing Pyspark pipelines

The principal computer scientist ensures the algorithms are fast, accurate and scalable and maximize our business metrics. They understand financial flows, cross-departmental links and dependencies and provide consultancy to their assigned countries and internal customer groups. They leverage their expertise to drive deal, tool, or workflow improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Design/Develop/Enhance advanced algorithms

• Deploy at scale the solutions implemented

• Monitor, optimize and maintain the solutions implemented

• Oversee and mentor more junior resources

  

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge in Pyspark/Python

• Knowledge of Computer Science algorithms

• Knowledge of Data Science algorithms is a plus
