Junior Infrastructure Consultant - Network

We are searching for a colleague to join our network team and being part of our colorful and challenging projects. You will work on transformation projects covering data center migrations, building enterprise networks or migrations to cloud environment. You will get familiar with network topologies of major local or international companies in multiple industry sectors – financial, telco, products and more.

The open position is suitable for recent graduates or technological enthusiasts eager to start their star career in a global consulting company.

What will be your role responsibilities?

• You will start with analysis and later continue with design and implementations of various network equipments and technologies used during our projects.
• Analysis: Support with assessment of client’s network infrastructure, collecting information from network devices, preparation of inputs for their transformation, i.e., preparing inputs for firewall policy transformations, routing changes or load-balancer setups.
• Design: You will support creating simpler network topologies and creating Bill of Materials for upcoming project activities by collecting inputs and requirements
• Prepare and validate proposed solution in our lab environment (SD-WAN, Network R&S, Security,…)
• Implementations: Based on the level of your expertize you will perform implementations under supervision of a senior colleague to help safely growing your expertize and confidence.
• You will deepen your knowledge with classical networking as switching, routing, firewalls, proxies, load balancers and other network security technologies both on-premise and in cloud infrastructure. Accenture acts as vendor agnostic integrator, meaning you will learn how to operate equipment from multiple vendors
• Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, coordinating activities with your peers (both internal and client’s engineers) 
• Reporting: providing updates on your activities, on project progress and addressing project manager’s or client’s inquiries. 
• Stay current: Stay up to date with industry trends, network and cloud technology advancements, demonstrate your knowledge by earning certifications, share knowledge and your experience within the team. 

Wanted experience and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or related field
• Networking and network security basics knowledge on the level of CCNA. (CCNA certification is advatageous)
• Passion to learn new technologies and adapt to client requirements. 
• Experience with on-premise or cloud computing infrastructure is welcome (Windows/Linux OS, virtualization platforms, AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI cloud providers)
• Basic scripting and coding skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python) are a plus.
• Proven strong written and spoken communication skills in English
• Very good knowledge of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive mindset
• Willingness to travel - both domestics and international business trips
