Responsibilities

Join our Cloud team at Accenture as Cloud Analyst and embark on an exciting journey in the world of cloud technology. As a junior member of our Infrastructure Engineering team you will work on transformation projects covering both cloud and on-premise datacenter technologies. You’ll assist our clients in improving their infrastructure stack, and migrating and transforming their infrastructure to cloud.

What will be your responsibilities:

  • Data collection: Assist with assessments of current infrastructure landscape and gathering data about servers, databases and other technologies. Create and maintain project’s inventory (e.g. a list of servers with their specification, mapping between applications and servers etc.)

  • Design and documentation: participate on documenting a new infrastructure solution, be responsible for selected chapters of a high-level or low-level design document or deliverables

  • Capacity planning and sizing: plan capacities for infrastructure components (e.g. compute and storage), provide inputs for creating Bill of Materials (BoMs)

  • Implementation of new infrastructure: execute deployment of new infrastructure either in a public cloud or in on-premise environments. Perform validation and health-checks before handing over the new environment

  • Support enablement of native cloud technologies, deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

  • Migrations: Execute V2V, P2V or P2P migration using different tools

  • Collaboration: collaborate with cross-functional teams, including application teams and network engineers, to achieve integrated solutions

  • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, coordinating activities with your peers (client’s engineers)

  • Reporting: providing updates on your activities, on project progress and addressing project manager’s or client’s inquiries.

  • Stay current: Stay up to date with industry trends, cloud technology advancements, demonstrate your knowledge by earning certifications, share knowledge and your experience within the team.

Required Skills and Expertise:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Understanding of networking fundamentals – subnets, firewalls.

  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies and/or containerization (e.g. VMware vSphere, Kubernetes).

  • Basic knowledge of Windows or Linux operating systems

  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A proactive and detail-oriented mindset, ensuring meticulous work.

  • An eagerness to learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving field.

  • Basic scripting and coding skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python) are a plus.

  • Certifications like AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals would be advantageous.
