WORK YOU’LL DO

As an Azure Entra Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management (IAM) solutions using Microsoft Entra. This role involves creating secure, scalable, and efficient identity frameworks to support enterprise applications, hybrid cloud environments, and digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive Azure Entra solutions, including Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Entra Permissions Management, and Entra Workload Identity.

• Develop strategies for hybrid identity environments, integrating on-premises Active Directory with Azure Entra.

• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of identity solutions with other Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Logic Apps.

• Provide technical guidance to IT teams and stakeholders on Entra best practices.

• Define and implement access policies, conditional access, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to enhance security and usability.

• Architect solutions for managing privileged identities using Entra Privileged Identity Management (PIM).

• Help our clients modernize their architecture and core technologies

• Contributing to the refinement of technical requirements

• Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and innovative solutions to meet client's requirements

• Creating and updating applicable technical documentation

• Coaching and mentoring other team members

• Consult on best engineering practices, quality standards and principles

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

• Extensive experience with Azure Entra (Microsoft Entra ID), Active Directory, and identity federation solutions.

• Excellent communication skills verbal & written in English. To be able to communicate with IT teams and departments, end users and customers

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced ever-changing environment under strict deadlines

• Deep experience in developing associated business cases and plans which are detailed, actionable and aligned with industry best practices

• Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision

• Customer centric, passionate about delivering great digital products and services

• Experience supporting career & knowledge development for engineers early in their career

• Ability to support project team to prioritize activities and provide deliverables as planned

Desirable experience

• 5+ years in identity and access management or cloud architecture.

• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises and cloud-based identity systems.

• Extensive experience with Azure Entra (Microsoft Entra ID), Active Directory, and identity federation solutions.

• Understanding of protocols like OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, and WS-Federation.

• Proficiency in Azure portal, PowerShell, and CLI for identity configuration.

• Experience in hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises and cloud-based identity systems.

• Certifications (Preferred):

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert

  • Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.

  • Azure Solutions Architect certifications are a plus.

• Azure Entra (Microsoft Entra ID)

• Azure Monitor and Microsoft Sentinel

• Microsoft Entra Permissions Management

• Conditional Access and MFA tools

• Scripting languages like PowerShell or Python

• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
