Job Description & Summary

As part of out Actuarial team, you will consult clients such as insurers, banks, regulators, and third party administrators. You could help analyse the impact that new regulation will have on an insurance company’s balance sheet or you could be revising businesses’ projections and making sure they have appropriate liabilities.

Some of the role responsibilities include:
- Contribution to the delivery of insurance risk management or regulatory engagements with focus on insurance reserves;
- Contribution to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen;
- Working with others in the team to help build an inclusive and positive working environment;
- Contribute to IFRS 17 implementation projects in the areas of technical reserves, actuarial data and systems;
- Supporting teams in IFRS 17 and regulatory reviews.
It’s expected that:
- You have 1-2 years actuarial experience in the insurance industry.
- You have experience in insurance risk management
- You have academic degree in quantitative area (Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Quantitative Finance, Engineering are preferred)
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and execution skills
- You are fluent in English and Bulgarian
- You are self-aware, ask for feedback on your work, respect sincere suggestions for improvements and take appropriate steps according to the feedback received
- You can take responsibility for assigned work
