Team/Role Overview
The Global Selection Optimisation Team are responsible for providing end-to-end strategy, execution and delivery of the tools, processes and require governance optimisations to support the selection of the best talent for Citi. We are at a pivotal point in time as we seek to evolve our approach to Skills based Talent activation for the firm. This role is critical to shape the vision and will be accountable for making it a reality. You will have high autonomy in this role to shape & drive a wide range of exciting and impactful initiatives.
Working as part of the Global TA organisation and leading a team of assessment and selection subject matter experts, this new role will be accountable for building our future selection optimisation strategy, while continuing to enhance and optimise existing approaches and tools. Providing measurable impact and ongoing support to our hiring community to select the most talented individuals whether they are Graduates or Senior Executives.
What you’ll do
- Shaping a vision, mobilising complex programs of work to transform and options assessment and selection, ensuring successful execution.
- Ensuring design and deployment of assessment solutions deliver the best hiring outcomes and experiences while remaining cost effective and protecting Citi from risk.
- Partnering with a breadth of Stakeholders across HR, Technology, Compliance, Legal, Third-Party Management, building strong relationships to proactively influence outcomes & effect change.
- Delivery of tangible results, with and through others demonstrating strong accountability, proactivity, and solution orientation.
- Utilising data led insights to show effectiveness of solutions deployment, their adoption and impact on quality of hire.
- Management of existing assessments vendors, while also horizon scanning for potential partners to enhance capabilities while balancing commercial, operational, experiential and risk dimensions.
- Ensuring that the hiring ecosystem adopt and utilise the tools and approaches effectively, maximising return and minimising risk in our hiring activity.
- Ongoing monitoring & reporting our assessment activity for negative impact and driving corrective action if required.
- Partnering with other areas of assessment activity within the Bank, spanning Talent and Learning.
What we’ll need from you
- A strong people leader, able to excite and create followship for complex and pioneering concepts, securing support to enable execution of a strategic vision that you have shaped.
- You will have worked at scale, within a complex, highly matrixed environment, with proven ability to operate autonomously and through others, at pace.
- Talent should be your passion, and this should be augmented with a high degree of data fluency and storytelling with demonstrable success in building advocacy.
- Experience within assessment and selection while ideal is not required, but you will have demonstrable expertise in navigating and executing work within complex regulatory and legislative environments.
- Proven ability to deliver objective and reliable data, at scale, to support people investment decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, and experience delivering complex projects. Along with a relentless focus on continuous and incremental improvement.
- Demonstrate sound judgement and high credibility, while knowing when to solicit expert opinion to deliver quality, cost, experience, and risk optimised solution.
