Responsibilities
Air Liquide Bulgaria has been on the domestic market since 1999 and is a countrywide recognised gas producer and supplier of technologies, services and gases for the food industry, large industries, healthcare and environment. Air Liquide Bulgaria has a team of 95 employees serving industrial customers.

He or She will drive continuous improvement in our production capabilities and maintain the highest standards of quality in our operations.
Operational Management
- Monitor and optimize daily operations of production facilities.
- Ensure that all processes operate within set parameters and comply with IMS standards.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and best practices.
- Provide technical support and expertise to production staff and other departments.
- Responsible for plant start-up after stoppage.
Process Optimization
- Analyze production data and KPIs to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving for operational issues.
- Realize programming in DCS (distributed control system) and ensure APC (automated process control).
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all operations adhere to AL policies and IMS.
- Conduct Self-assessment/internal audit to ensure compliance with IMS.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and safety training programs.
Project Management
- Lead and support projects aimed at process improvements, capacity expansion, and new technology implementation.
- Prepare project plans, budgets, and timelines, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, procedures, and operational changes (Operating Manuals and SOPs).
- Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, safety incidents, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for compliance and audit purposes.
- Ensure and support the MoC process.
Are you a MATCH?
Education: University degree in Operations / Engineering
Previous experience: Process engineering or operations within the industrial gases, chemicals, or related industry.
Foreign language: fluent English
Knowledge and Knowhow Specific to the Job
- ASU process knowledge
- 5+ years experience in process, production, or project engineering
- Plant operations experience
- Experience working with highly hazardous chemicals at a manufacturing facility
- Experience establishing, tracking and driving gap closure with KPIs (Key Performance Metrics) or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of DCS (distributed control system) and Process Automation control systems
Management and Behaviour Skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
- Effective communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
