We are looking to add a temporary Simulation and Modeling Technician to our team for the summer. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, startup environment and are passionate about leading-edge hardware for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.

As a Simulation and Modeling Technician, you will have the opportunity to gain practical hands-on experience in various aspects of engineering while supporting the daily operations of our engineering teams. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in Engineering.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the development and operation of simulations focused on spacecraft communication systems.
Assist with payload, multi-beam user modeling for marketing outputs.
Assist in organization and set up of test equipment.
Follow established work instructions and electronics lab policies and procedures in the development of space electronics.
Perform other tasks and duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current enrollment in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Engineering degree program at an accredited institution. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering focus preferred.
Basic understanding of Engineering principles.
Some prior experience in an electronics lab is desired.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
High level of attention to detail and standards is critical as this position will interface or use complex, high value equipment and tools.
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.
Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
