Daily tasks: What you will be doing depends mostly on the research topic that you will define, but as this internship is product design-related, it’s very likely that you will dip your toes into some of the following activities:
Explore design concepts, experimenting with different design ideas and approaches, allowing you to innovate and push the boundaries of your creativity.
Facilitate workshops to understand, ideate, and create. All that good stuff.
Turn concepts into prototypes whether it’s low or high-fidelity you’ll make it look good.
Conduct user research from user interviews to usability testing to find out whether you are building the right thing, before you build the thing right.
Nerd out on information architecture, wireframes, design systems, and edge cases and know what is needed for end-to-end process.
Refine and polish the user interface, obsessing over details, perfectly placing every pixel in balance with your 8pt grid.
Besides your thesis, you will have the opportunity to gain experience within the Design & Digital Products domain within Accenture Song.
Research: We support research topics that can be, amongst others, in line with one of the following topics:
Creating inclusive design systems
Collaboration in design teams
Integrating AI in the design thinking process
Ethical implications of generative AI
We will work together to define the specific topic. It’s important to think of a topic that interests you!
Song Talent Factory (STF)
As part of your internship, you will also take part in Song Talent Factory. This program will be leading you through your path at Accenture Song and will provide additional engagements, activities and projects to enhance your intern experience. Being part of the Song Talent Factory, you will:
Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career;
Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources;
Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Marketing and Consumer Services);
Work on a large internship long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer;
Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events
Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities;
From building an app for coffee catch-ups to dinners after work, the Song Talent Factory will make your experience at Accenture Song even more enjoyable!

Proficiency in Dutch and English.
