Responsibilities
As a Junior Data Scientist will play a key role in leveraging domain-specific decision science to aid in the development of data models, AI use cases, and visualizations that address critical industry challenges and executive-level priorities. You will be involved in a variety of projects aimed at supporting personalization of products and services based on data from multiple touchpoints. Your contributions will support the development and deployment of prototypes on advanced AI/ML platforms to empower optimal decision-making and facilitate a culture of rapid experimentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop relevant data models, AI/ML algorithms, and visualizations for various industry verticals and functional areas.
Assist in the development, integration, and operational management of AI-driven solutions across the enterprise.
Contribute to the implementation and ongoing testing of AI applications, ensuring they meet business needs and performance standards.
Help translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
Contribute to the development of a value-led roadmap, clearly defining and prioritizing capabilities that align with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
Czech language (at least C1), English language (at least B2/C1)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience.
Experience with programming languages such as Python. Knowledge of Python, SQL, GIT. The following python libraries are a must - pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, and at least a basic understanding of Keras.
Sound understanding of Feed Forward Deep Neural Networks, supervised learning, classification tasks and evaluation techniques.
Basic understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Amazon Quicksight or similar.
Familiarity with some of the tools like AWS Cloud, Google Analytics, BigQuery, Azure Cloud, Apache Spark, ML Flow and Databricks is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
