AI/ML Data Scientist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional AI/ML Data Scientist to join our UniQue Ispra team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our customers in the public sector and you will be responsible for developing new business by identifying profitable opportunities, maintaining your client portfolio by building strong, long-lasting relationships, and monitoring the progress of the projects, with the aim to provide excellent client service and added value services.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced software applications in the fields of Machine Learning (ML), and/or Artificial Intelligence (AI);
• Perform data mining and apply machine learning algorithms to extract insights and develop predictive models;
• Train and fine-tune custom machine learning/deep learning models based on structured and unstructured data;
• Interact with stakeholders to define the data rules;
• Design and implement data-driven solutions for the acquisition, integration, processing, and storage of large volumes of structured and unstructured transport-related data from internal and external sources, in alignment with business and policy needs;
• Perform data exploration, cleansing, and validation to ensure integrity, completeness, and consistency of the data;
• Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure, including the setup of databases and integration with platforms
• Extract insights from complex datasets by identifying patterns, trends, and correlations using statistical analysis and machine learning techniques;
• Develop interactive data visualisations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Analyse the performance of existing models and propose enhancements based on validation results;
• Write technical and scientific documentation.
