We are seeking a Labeler to support our software team by annotating and organizing key datasets for our machine-learning models. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality and accuracy and enabling our autonomous surface vessels to navigate and operate more effectively.

Responsibilities

Annotate large volumes of image and video data, focusing on identifying vessels, objects, environmental markers, and other relevant elements
Ensure labeling accuracy and consistency across the dataset, adhering to annotation guidelines and quality standards
Collaborate with the data science and engineering teams to refine labeling protocols and enhance labeling tools
Provide feedback on data labeling processes, identifying areas for improvement in data quality and workflow efficiency
Conduct regular quality checks and reviews of annotated data to ensure alignment with project requirements
Participate in team meetings to stay updated on project goals, timelines, and quality benchmarks

Qualifications

Experience in data labeling or annotation in computer vision, image processing, machine learning, or related field
Basic understanding of maritime environments or experience labeling for autonomous systems
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency across large datasets
Familiarity with data annotation tools like Labelbox, CVAT, or similar
Ability to follow specific guidelines and meet project deadlines
