Vice President, Product ManagementOverview• Customers and merchants are increasingly demanding enriched & new payment experiences across channels and digital interfaces. The trend of digital payments is accelerating omni-channel experiences for consumers as well as merchants. What used to be two distinct payment channels (offline / online) are quickly evolving, necessitating new product constructs, channel partnerships & distribution, and refreshed transaction dynamics.
• To scale these experiences, we are setting out to transform our business models to fuel innovation and compete effectively and efficiently in the marketplace.
• This role is part of the Digital Innovation & Solution, Global Acceptance team. This is an opportunity to be part of a highly motivated and creative team focused on scaling digital and online payment experiences across the globe. We are looking for a top performer with entrepreneurial spirit and ambition to play a key role in leading Mastercard`s efforts to secure new growth opportunities while working with exceptional colleagues around the globe.
Primary responsibilities
• Lead the Product Management of new acceptance products, including Click to Pay ISV Plug-in, Next Gen-POI (in-store online), and Electric Vehicle Power & Go.
• Interface with Acceptance Accelerator platform team supporting these products to drive the development roadmap.
• Design new solutions for vetted new business models, underpenetrated verticals and emerging markets across card & account payments, in-store online experiences, and emerging technologies, including AI and Ultra-wide Band.
• Define value and transactions drivers together with other team members as well as product & business requirements for the development of new business models that enable acquirers, merchants and/or other acceptance ecosystem participants to grow Mastercard payment share within overall payments.
• Manage the product development gating process (Studio) and obtain/increase executive sponsorship for new products and business models at Mastercard’s C-level and cross-functional stakeholders across franchise, legal, product, and technology.
• Determine if new features should be built or obtained via external partnerships / acquisitions.
• Implement new products & execute best practice frameworks across regions with first-to-market customers, requiring additional product, technology and design thinking support.
• Interface with Go-To-Market teams to set and realize implementation and KPI targets for the new products.
• Track and report KPI metrics supporting new products and business models.
• Lead co-creation/innovation workshops with key customers
All About You
• Strong entrepreneurial and analytical skills, experience in developing and translating strategies into implementation plans across multiple markets.
• Product management and go-to-market experience with excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, product management, and relationship building skills.
• Experience in developing and translating business requirements into product requirements and implementation plans across multiple markets.
• Competency in budgeting, financial reporting, business model creation.
• Proven record of writing concise and accurate documentation with thorough attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication, comfortable presenting, influencing, and negotiating at senior management level, able to shift gears for audiences from different business disciplines of varying technical ability.
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic and highly organized, holding self and others to high standards, able to work autonomously and as part of a team, fostering a positive team culture
• Open and creative; comfortable with uncertainty in a changing/fast paced environment.
Total Base Pay Range
