Description -
This role belongs to the Large-Format Printing Strategic Planning team. This team is responsible of defining high-impact, long-term business strategies at the corporate, business, and/or regional level. Members of this team partner with senior management to identify existing operational and new business opportunities, including market development, investment prioritization, and Mergers & Acquisitions and other growth strategies.
This role is responsible for supporting the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of strategic plans that lead to sustainable business growth and improved performance. The role interprets data and creates financial and statistical models to suggest recommendations for enhancing business and financial performance. The role regularly monitors emerging trends in strategic planning and predicts business trends to help shape the strategic development plans for the organization.
Responsibilities
- Researches businesses, industries, and competitors for multiple workstreams using a comprehensive and self-directed analytical approach.
- Constructs financial and statistical models that incorporate industry standard information sources, valuation methods, and statistically relevant data.
- Interprets and synthesizes data to identify major conclusions and formulate recommendations for optimizing business and financial performance.
- Owns data collection activities and partners with cross-functional team members to ensure timely and accurate analysis delivery.
- Supports in defining project guidelines, contingency plans, objectives, and deliverables to drive successful outcomes.
- Monitors and incorporates emerging trends in strategic planning, ensuring that the organization remains agile and competitive.
- Develops thorough business cases and strategic options based on in-depth industry insights, internal capabilities, financial models, and ROI analysis to guide and support planning initiatives.
- Collaborates closely with management and employees to proactively drive growth strategies and initiatives across the organization.
- Tracks, measures, interprets, and predicts business trends to inform decision-making and enable proactive responses to market dynamics and evolving business landscapes.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in strategic management, strategic planning and implementation, consulting, market research, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
