About the Role
As a Program Manager on the Sora team, you will partner with research and key partner teams to bridge creative production and emerging technologies. This role combines program and project management with hands-on creative production, ensuring that experimental projects, research initiatives, and production efforts move forward seamlessly.
We are looking for people who enjoy operating in a high accountability, high expectation environment where the goal is always to produce the best solution. Honesty, openness to new ideas, and willingness to accept and respond to feedback are critical. You’ll collaborate with technical teams, creative partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive projects that shape the next generation of generative media.
In this role, you will:
Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of creative projects that inform and support research initiatives
Coordinate specialized creative teams to deliver high-quality visual and video outputs
Partner with research teams to translate experimental findings into actionable insights, identifying creative opportunities and gaps
Develop scalable workflows and production systems that enable efficient, high-quality content creation
Identify operational gaps and build efficiencies to that ensure the team runs smoothly and remains well-integrated with the rest of the company
Act as a liaison between creative, legal, and operational teams to streamline procurement, contracting, and external partnerships
Support cross-functional storytelling efforts, including launch content, demo, product assets as needed
Minimum qualifications:
Excellent project or production management skills, with a track record of having delivered on complex projects in a fast-moving environment
Ability to manage end-to-end creative production, from concept to post-production across various type of creative pipelines
A creative mindset paired with the ability to provide constructive feedback on visual and experiential content
A filmmaker and/or creative producer with a strong eye for visual storytelling and subject matter expertise in the technical filmmaking pipelines
Ability to learn new skills and technologies to deliver the most effective solutions, and break down technical work into pieces that you both understand and can re-articulate to others
Strong organizational and communication skills; you’re comfortable context-switching across multiple streams of work
Strong attention to detail
Prior experience collaborating with technical teams, researchers, or product teams is helpful, but not required
