The Team:
OSTTRA plays a critical role in supporting global financial markets, connecting thousands of counterparties on our multi-asset networks that underpin the post-trade lifecycle from trade capture, through portfolio optimization, to clearing and settlement. OSTTRA Client Services provides operational day-to-day support working closely with Product Design, Sales, Business Development and Technology to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries.
The Custom Processing team, within the Client Services division, designs, coordinates and executes industry events on the MarkitWire and Trade Manager platforms on behalf of clients. Examples include, mergers and acquisition processing, corporate actions and trade netting exercises. The Custom Processing team is seeking a self-driven individual with strong problem solving and analytical skills to fill an Associate position within the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day customer support for OTC derivative processing events supported within the MarkitServ suite of products.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Processing of Interest Rate and Equity derivative trades for industry events using a variety of proprietary automated tools
Performing analysis and error resolution on trades for processing and escalating to appropriate teams and/or management where necessary
Management of multiple project executions simultaneously
Internal and External Stakeholder management
Identifying critical issues and escalating to team management
Identifying technology or process improvements and collaborating with colleagues across OSTTRA for implementation of automated solutions
Ensuring team service level agreements for processing and client satisfaction are met and exceeded
Participation in global team workflow and ensuring partnership cross region
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $79,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a discretionary bonus plan.

What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Understanding of OTC industry and financial systems and their relationship to OSTTRA
1+ years Financial Services experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft and Google suite of products
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills to provide high level of service
Ability to multitask and lead projects
Calm demeanor in high pressure environments
Available to deliver short notice high value work
Excellent interpersonal skills and positive outlook with a team first attitude
Comfortable working in a global multinational team
Self-motivated and takes initiative to contribute to team goals
Demonstrates ownership over workload and partners with global team members to achieve team objectives
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets knowledge a plus
Knowledge of Python, VBA and SQL scripts a plus
