About the Role: The Chief of Staff (CoS) works directly for the Co-Presidents of Commodity Insights, supporting the overall effectiveness and organization of the office of the President both internally and externally. The CoS is at the heart of a $2.3B+ business with approximately 6,000 colleagues around the world. This critical role on the CI leadership team provides thought partnership to the Co-Presidents and delivers excellence in a fast-paced, high-performance work environment.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • CEO Efficiency and Effectiveness:

    • Enhance the Co-Presidents' ability to provide direction-setting, problem identification, and decision alignment.
    • Develop strong working relationships with Executive Leadership and other key internal stakeholders.
    • Support Board of Directors activities and ensure compliance with governance.
    • Prepare meeting agendas and coordinate offsites to facilitate effective information flow.
    • Maximize the Co-Presidents' time by organizing critical issues and required information.
    • Facilitate effective interactions between Co-Presidents and various constituents.
  • Project Leadership:

    • Support key initiatives and projects such as investor days and strategic planning.
    • Maintain an inventory of critical path projects for the Co-Presidents.
    • Ensure issues are addressed properly and track progress until completion.
  • CEO Communications:

    • Partner with Communications and other functions to support stakeholder outreach and speaking engagements.
    • Help prepare briefing packets for critical meetings, representing the Co-Presidents' views.
  • Other Performance Enablers:

    • Collaborate with various teams to support business planning and operational processes.
    • Analyze data and prepare engagements focused on customers, shareholders, and employees.
    • Track progress on division-wide objectives and ensure execution of action items.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in financial services, professional services, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic initiatives and financial analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including storytelling with data.
  • Proven ability to handle complex situations and multiple responsibilities effectively.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PowerBI or similar BI tools such as Tableau.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
