Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is the Canadian home healthcare subsidiary of Air Liquide, the world leader in gases, medical technologies and services for Industry and Healthcare. VitalAire empowers patients who have sleep apnea or require home oxygen therapy through ongoing respiratory support and compliance.

Air Liquide Home Healthcare Canada is currently recruiting a highly energetic and motivated Supervisor, Service Centre in Mississauga. The Supervisor is to manage day to day operations of the department and promotes ALC HHC Safety & Quality practices, including but not limited to maintenance & repairs, staff management, budgeting, scheduling, and inventory.

  • Plan and manage day-to-day allocation of resources in order to achieve performance objectives/targets as agreed with the business management in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.   

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment, ensuring personal and team operational targets are met.

  • Ensure high quality execution of maintenance & repair services are carried out on time and in full in accordance with all applicable policies and procedures

  • Leads Training and coaching plan for the staff in order to maintain all mandatory licenses/certifications internal/external at all times.

  • Lead and manage a team of employees, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.

  • Drive team performance by setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance management.

  • Foster a positive work environment by mentoring and developing staff, addressing performance, and promoting continuous improvement. 

  • Coordinates the financial aspects, manage costs and track expenses

  • Manage parts and supplies according to repair volume and products, work closely with procurement to issue purchase orders on procuring parts/supplies. 

  • Maintaining inventory and equipment, and ordering tools, supplies, and parts

  • Ensures all activities/movement types are captured within the ERP system.

  • Manage KPI/Metrics with respect to devices cycled through Service Center in sync with brand of product.

  • Manage recalls in a timely manner, review regulatory changes through internal/external channels

  • Maintain and updating Air Liquide Home Healthcare maintenance module in AppSheet as processes are being updated due to business changes

  • Other duties as assigned

Are you a MATCH?

Here is what you will need

  • Previous 2 to 3 years’ service and maintenance related experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)

  • High School Diploma

  • Apprentice or Journeyman qualification in skilled trades would be an asset

  • Good skills in fields of mechanical, hydraulic, electronic or pressure vessels.

  • Mechanically inclined and experience in repair, maintenance, calibration, and installation of electrical, pneumatic and electronic health care equipment would be an asset

  • Computer literate in Google environment and Microsoft Office (Excel); able to work on appsheets and program appsheets

  • Ability to work independently

  • Competence to plan maintenance schedules

  • Excellent interpersonal and delegation skills

  • Competency with computers and Google Suite
