Responsibilities

The Country Procurement Manager is responsible to coordinate and supervise sourcing activities in close collaboration and alignment with local business operations. This includes driving the implementation of purchasing projects in the country as well as local supplier selection, negotiation, and management. You will oversee spend in category and relevant sub-categories. The main role is to influence regional supplier relationships and contracts, as well as develop and implement category procurement plans.

If you are a strategic planner with great negotiation experience, can take charge and be systematic in solving technical, commercial, or contractual problems then we are keen to hear from you.

What you'll be looking for:

  • Covering procurement processes in Romania, Bulgaria & Serbia
  • Negotiation of supplier terms and conditions, optimization of quality and prices, contracting with selected external suppliers (mainly spare parts, PPE, operating leases, mobile operators, IT suppliers, etc.)
  • Implementation of global plans and compliance with legislative processes
  • Working closely with service team managers
  • And other activities resulting from the nature of the position

Ideal Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Proven experience with strategic procurement and the supply chain management is essential
  • Capability to work effectively and implement change in line with our business and front-line teams
  • Adapt at managing projects independently as well as working with other business functions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, additional languages are a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel on site and supplier visits
  • Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Excel experience
