Job Overview:

We are seeking a Space Planner responsible for owning space allocation, layout development, and the execution of facility-related projects end-to-end. You will be responsible for leading space planning initiatives across our offices, labs, and manufacturing spaces, ensuring our physical environment scales efficiently with teams, tools, and mission needs.

Responsibilities

Own and manage space planning projects from concept through completion—including scope, schedule, stakeholders, and delivery
Work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and security teams to assess requirements and develop smart space solutions
Generate and manage layouts, floor plans, and space allocation maps using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
Optimize space utilization across office, lab, and production environments to support team growth, workflow efficiency, and compliance
Coordinate all aspects of project execution—furniture, infrastructure, IT, signage, move logistics, and vendor oversight
Partner with leadership to forecast space needs and support strategic decisions related to expansion, site selection, or renovations
Ensure spaces are compliant with security, safety, and DoD-related regulations (e.g., SCIFs, ITAR, NIST)
Conduct routine space audits and maintain accurate data for space tracking and reporting

Qualifications

Experience in space planning and workplace project management, ideally in a tech, manufacturing, or defense-related environment
Proven track record leading space projects with multiple stakeholders—ideally in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or space planning tools
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Familiarity with DoD and government contractor facility requirements (e.g., SCIF, ITAR compliance) is a plus
