Senior Controller

Interested in joining a finance team of a generic pharmaceutical company to play a pivotal role in shaping our future growth trajectory? As a driver of innovation and business development, you will lead our R&D initiatives and strategic in-licensing efforts, ushering in new ideas and challenging conventional norms. Working closely with cross-functional teams including New Product Development, Commercial, and Product Supply, you will spearhead the appraisal of capex projects, ensuring robust business partnering and alignment with our strategic objectives. Your expertise will be instrumental in enhancing our reporting frameworks, meticulously tracking ROI assumptions to uphold our commitment to excellence and sustainability in every endeavour.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Be the Finance Business Partner for our New Product Development (NPD) team
• Do Financial controlling for the NPD unit –budgeting, forecasting and actrual reporting.
• Be Responsible for managing the financial aspects of the New Product development team - appraising capex investments, developing and enhancing current processes
• Be Finance Lead for regular Zentiva Portfolio Committee meetings, define key tracking measures for Return on Investment (ROI) for Zentiva Group’s Product portfolio investments and work with Product Development to ensure correctly tracked and presented concisely to Executive Committee and Zentiva’s shareholders. Ensure proper management of new launches, portfolio optimization and segmentation, correct allocation of costs.
• Analyse, report and plan financial performance of the product portfolio, including NPD KPIs.
• Produce and present monthly NPD Financial Reports
• Develop comprehensive business cases to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure development and implementation of new controlling tools and procedures in the area in collaboration with the rest of the Group Finance community

You will thrive in this role if you have:

• University degree in Finance and/or accounting certification
• 10+ years’ experience in a senior finance role in a multinational company
• Experience in CAPEX project appraisal
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Change project experience and Courage to challenge the status quo
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proactive approach
• Strong analytical thinking
• Good time management
