What you'll do

  • Responsible for preparing on a monthly and yearly basis the consolidated financial statements of the group and various sub-groups for internal/external/statutory/audit purposes based on IFRS

  • Support the development and implementation of consolidation policies and procedures to streamline financial reporting

  • Collaborate with finance teams across different business units to ensure consistency in reporting

  • Participate in strategic accounting projects, such as automation of the consolidation system, improvements in accounting processes, including intercompany transactions

  • Assisting in the statutory audit of the Group’s subsidiaries as well as the audit of the consolidated financial statements

  • Oversee the accounts payable function across the entities within the Group and ensure proper financial reporting and reconciliation between contractual arrangements, invoicing and payments

  • Responsible for the Accounts Payable function in the newly established investment brokers, including receipt and booking of invoices, oversight of accounts payable, coordination with local finance professionals, etc.

  • Liaising with auditors, tax advisors, regulators and other counterparties

  • Participation in the transfer pricing arrangements between the entities within the Group

  • Participation in other finance and accounting related projects within the Group as deemed necessary

What you need to have

  • 5+ years of previous experience in Finance/ Accounting/ Audit

  • Experience in financial reporting, financial control and auditing

  • Excellent knowledge of IFRS

  • Good presentation skills (written & oral)

  • Ability to interpret new and complex data

  • Very good analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • English fluency

  • ACCA/ CFA and other relevant certifications will be considered an advantage

  • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and participate in various projects involving multiple people with various backgrounds
