Responsibilities

  • Manage prioritization of work across employees including planning for key projects vs BAU responsibilities and vacation.

  • Coach and provide feedback to those employees as part of their midyear and year-end performance reviews.

  • Calibrate talent for pay for performance calibration including year-end compensation allocation.

  • Apply mathematical or statistical techniques to address practical issues in finance, such as derivative valuation, securities trading, risk management, or financial market regulation.

  • Research or develop analytical tools to address issues such as portfolio construction or optimization, performance measurement, attribution, profit and loss measurement, or pricing models.

  • Interpret results of financial analysis procedures.

  • Develop core analytical capabilities or model libraries, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques.

  • Define or recommend model specifications or data collection methods.

  • Partner with the Equities line of business to assess business activities and their impact the measure of liquidity risk at the company.

  • Develop and own internal models used to stress liquidity and assumptions applied to the models for Global Equities business including Prime Brokerage area.

  • Review, interpret and implement regulatory prescribed liquidity reporting requirements that impact the Global Equities business to ensure regulatory compliance.

  • Perform financial analysis and financial modelling of cash and liquidity products to size liquidity required to adequately cover liquidity risks.

  • Utilize working knowledge of Traded products including secured funding and derivatives to understand underlying liquidity risks and assess cash flows.

  • Practice asset liability management including interest rate risk management and liquidity risk management and capital to ensure required regulatory rules and standards are met.

  • Partner with senior Directors and managing Directors to analyze and understand impacts from key business strategies or market conditions.

  • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Engineering (any) or related: and

  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation.

  • Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Performing financial analysis and financial modelling of cash and liquidity products to size liquidity required to adequately cover liquidity risks;

  • Utilizing working knowledge of Traded products including secured funding and derivatives to understand underlying liquidity risks and assess cash flows;

  • Practicing asset liability management including interest rate risk management and liquidity risk management and capital to ensure required regulatory rules and standards are met; and,

  • Partnering with senior Directors and Managing Directors to analyze and understand impacts from key business strategies or market conditions.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$208,000.00 - $218,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
