Responsibilities

Job Title: Service Delivery Ops Associate Manager.
YOE: 10 to 14 years.
What are we looking for: University Degree in business, finance, accounting or equivalent qualification would be preferable.
Qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
Minimum 4 to 5 years financial statutory accounting experience including having played a central role in a financial reporting or statutory accounting team, demonstrating ability to prepare management and financial accounts to external audit, SOX and Internal Controls and Compliance standard.
Multinational and Multicurrency experience a distinct advantage
Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, working knowledge of SAP would be an advantage

Skill Required: Finance & Accounting - Accounting & Financial Reporting Standards (P4 ).
Qualification: Master's Degree - Chartered Accountant, Bachelor s degree with Finance specialization.

Roles and Responsibilities: Month end close: Support the existing team with the execution of the monthly fiscal close processes of client legal entities within SLA and to tight deadlines. Manage and be the onsite point of contact for the back office teams as needed.
SOX review: Support the team with Journal Entry and Reconciliation review activity using workflow tools, ensuring that both pass Accenture and client Internal Control testing as well as third party SOX compliance testing. Ensure integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all financial accounting data.
Improve: Initiate, manage and get involved in projects to improve process efficiency and effectiveness, reengineering processes, as necessary.
Process Escalations: Resolving or escalating process area specific service issues according to the contract
Managing Change: Reviewing and providing recommendations on process and tool Change Requests received from the client. Support transition and rollout of new processes and changes to existing processes either driven by client or by Record Global Process Owners.
Coach: Staff members across multiple teams and locations to ensure a high standard of service.
Process Partnership: Partner with Accenture and Client Record Global Process Owner to ensure ROC processes deployed remain aligned and consistent with the One Finance Record to Report process deployed globally.
Manage Client Relationship with Tax Team and professional tax partner: Ensure the Accenture team are complying with requirements, meeting Service Level Agreements, escalate any issues to SDL, and liaise to find a solution. In addition, represent Accenture in client meetings and aid the client as and when required.

What would you do: This client facing role will report to the SDL and have responsibility for collaborating with the respective ROC controllers and assisting in managing the delivery of the statutory accounts. This will include
Timely updates on progress to stakeholders
Guide, instruct and support back office team to deliver and partner with Stat Controller on changes as needed.
Assist in providing solutions as needed
Financial Statement Reporting
Manage process driven activity, completed by the offshore resources
Audit pack maintenance and improvement. Liaise with colleagues to suggest more efficient processes
Support TR Tool configuration under Microsoft direction and support
Maintenance of account mappings
Maintenance of AFS notes
Ensuring data in tool matches data in SAP
Other configuration and run support
