Reporting to the Global Director of Sales Development, the Manager will partner closely with SDRs to help them identify, nurture, and progress early to mid stage opportunities. The SDR team is strategically positioned within the Marketing organization—at the intersection of Sales and Marketing—executing outbound ABM campaigns to convert key accounts into high potential pipeline

A Day in the Life of the Manager, Sales Development:
- Oversee daily operations and provide direct support for the AMER SDR team
- Manage and coach 8-10 Houston-based SDRs to ensure consistency in performance and communication
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training initiatives, including SDR Bootcamp
- Monitor outbound activity, calls, and sequences, providing feedback and performance updates
- Identify at-risk team members and offer individualized coaching on prospecting, emailing, and calling
- Maintain data hygiene across Outreach, Salesforce, and other SDR tools
- Implement and execute campaign strategies aligned with SDR leadership
- Collaborate with Marketing and Demand Generation teams to align on target accounts and campaign execution
- Review SDR messaging for quality and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Report on team performance, engagement, and campaign effectiveness
- Provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Global Director
- Lead SDR huddles, training sessions, and team meetings
- Analyze performance data and recommend improvement plans as needed
Required Qualifications - About you:
We are looking for candidates who possess the rare combination of the following achievements, skills and behaviors:
- Passionate about AI and machine learning
- 3+ years of experience managing sales development or sales teams, with 2-4 years of exceptional performance in a previous SDR or sales role
- Strong understanding of Outreach sequence strategy and sales development methodology
- Proven ability to mentor and inspire team members
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Committed to helping others grow and succeed
- Tech savvy with proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office
- Accountable, consistent, and results driven
- Strong communicator—both written and verbal—with the ability to present with confidence
- Problem solver with creative thinking and analytical skills
- Prior experience managing Sales Development teams at a SaaS company; familiarity with tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and Demandbase is a plus
Highly Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
