Nightshift Production Operative

Manpower is recruiting a Nightshift Production Operative to work for our client, based in Butlerfield Industrial Estate, Bonnyrigg. Due to location and poor public transport we are ideally looking for candidates who live nearby or have their own transport to travel to and from work.

Hours: This is a Sunday - Thursday role - Working from 22:30 until 06:30am finish for 8 hours each night.
Pay: £15.87 Per Hour - 8 Hours a night - 40 Hours Per week - Weekly Pay
Contract - Temporary: This could lead to a permanent role for the right candidate and someone with previous production experience within a factory setting.

As a Production Operative, your main responsibilities will include:

* Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items
* Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels
* May be some heavy lifting involved loading products onto pallets

The ideal candidate will have:

* Good observational skills to spot defective products
* Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
* The ability to work quickly to meet production targets
* Good team working skills and the ability to work on your own
* The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures

All candidates must complete an online health and safety induction online before commencing work. Successful completion of induction includes a 2 hour payment for induction time, after completing 1 full shift.
