Over the past 224 years, The Post has evolved into a multi-platform media company spanning print, digital, video, audio, app, television, and commerce.
Page Six is seeking a sharp, creative, and experienced Part-Time Photo Editor (Weds-Sat, 4pm-11pm EST) to join our growing evening visuals team. The ideal candidate has a passion for entertainment news and visual storytelling, is a team player, and has a vast knowledge of pop culture news and celebrity imagery.
This position will assist in photo research, visual asset creation, and story pitching. They will work closely with the Page Six team to ensure that the stories are well-illustrated and as visually compelling as possible.
Responsibilities:
● Photo editing and researching using strong editorial judgement.
● Completing photo requests for the editorial team.
● Pitching photo-driven celebrity/entertainment stories and visual angles.
● Communicating with photo agencies including negotiating rates.
● Regularly monitoring the website to ensure the highest-quality images are displayed.
● Creating eye-catching visual assets for the homepage and social channels.
● Building galleries for the site.
● Live event coverage (including but not limited to: award shows, red carpets, fashion week).
The ideal candidate has:
● At least 3-5 years of experience with a multi-platform media digital/print brand.
● Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
● Strong graphic design skills.
● Superb photo selection skills.
● Flexibility for schedule changes, as well as potential night, weekend, and holiday coverage.
● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
● Proven research skills, including newsgathering and social media tools.
● Deep love for celebrity, pop culture, and entertainment news.
Note: We will consider candidates based in LA and NYC for this role.

Pay Range: $30 - $40
