Job Description
The Website UX Manager will lead the strategy, development, and continuous optimization of Fastmarkets’ website. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless, engaging, and high-performing user experience that aligns with business objectives. You will oversee website functionality, user experience enhancements, and conversion rate optimization while ensuring the site remains SEO-friendly and compliant with industry standards.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Conversion Rate Optimisation
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance conversion rates across fastmarkets.com
- Optimize on page experiences, reducing friction and improving lead generation.
- Create and enhance customer journeys for Fastmarkets’ different personas, using insights and qualitative and quantitative data.
- Identify and integrate CRO initiatives such as web personalization and chatbots to provide a customized experience.
- Implement a long-term roadmap and cadence of regular A/B and multivariate testing to improve website performance.
User Experience and user Interface Design
- Ensure the website delivers an intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experience.
- Conduct usability testing and analyze user behavior to identify friction points and opportunities.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to implement UX/UI improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Ensure the website meets accessibility standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with design teams to refine visual and interactive elements.
- Refine mobile navigation and page layouts to ensure intuitive interactions and ease of use on smaller screens.
SEO and content management
- Ensure UX and CRO enhancements align with SEO best practices, maintaining site structure, internal linking, and mobile-friendliness to support organic visibility.
- Collaborate with SEO and content teams to implement on-page improvements that enhance user engagement, such as structured content, clear CTAs, and multimedia integration.
- Support technical SEO health by ensuring site updates do not negatively impact performance, including page speed, accessibility, and crawlability.
Website analytics and performance
- Regular reporting on CRO and UX improvements back to the wider team.
- Analyse data to identify trends, user behaviour and areas for improvement.
- Provide regular reports and actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Optimise website performance including site speed, mobile responsiveness and overall site health.
- Ensure the site complies with data protection regulations and industry standards.
Collaboration and project management
- Regular cross-function experiment ideation – creating a feedback loop that considers different internal and external perspectives on website improvements.
- Work closely with the events team at Fastmarkets, ensuring their requirements are part of your roadmap.
- Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed.

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.
- At least 3 years’ experience owning CRO implementation and strategy.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript.
- Experience in analytics tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager.
- Experience using dedicated CRO tools such as Optimizely, VMO or similar.
- Familiarity with user testing and digital experience tools such as Hotjar/Mouseflow etc.
- Expertise in UX/UI principles and best practice.
- Excellent project management skills/experience with JIRA.
