Responsibilities

This role holds the responsibility for developing and delivering the digital marketing communications strategy for Romania.  This role will work to ensure that all initiatives achieve maximum ROI, are executed within budget and aligned to the strategic business objectives. 

To continue to develop and implement Digital Trading Strategies for Garmin.com.

To drive and manage all aspects of the digital channels to achieve sales and profit targets across all business segments.

All of this is achieved working primarily with our Marketing Manager, sales teams and external agencies having significant involvement in delivering a global approach, adapted for local markets.

We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a hybrid role based in Bucharest, this position will require at least 3 days in the office each week.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, develop an eCommerce conversion strategy, alongside the Marketing Manager, for the business to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Deliver agreed online sales plan for each segment, setting core KPIs (Sales, Traffic, Conversion) through a robust budgeting process.
  • Manage digital marketing deliverables for Garmin.com initiatives, including promotions, category campaigns, product launches, and brand campaigns/activations.
  • Fully own the blog strategy for garmin.com to support organic search and support our customers on their purchase journey, working closely with the marketing team to align on key stories and content.
  • Work with the assigned agency to organic search / content activity, managing the digital marketing budget, as well as setting and delivering core ROI targets.
  • Own the social media channels for Romania and work closely with our agencies to deliver the best conversion strategy for our products.
  • Manage partner relationships including key B2B and Health revenue channels where required ensuring return on investment is maximized.
  • Track, report, and analyze current business reporting tools plus website analytics, initiatives and campaigns across Garmin.com.
  • Drive a digital first approach across the commercial team and ensure all product information and assets on the websites are optimized through effective collaboration with UK product and marketing teams.
  • Oversee the management of brand online presence on Garmin.com, maximizing engagement and product revenues including accurate demand product forecasting.
  • Actively monitor market activity to ensure our proposition is compelling.
