Overview: Transportation Specialist is responsible for flawless transportation of the orders and ensure all Transports are processed and fulfilled accurately and on a timely manner. Responsibilities: Steering of transports by routes in SAP Manual steering of inbound shipments (e.g. preparation of routing orders) Technical transport routing and controlling Creation of reports Controlling of electronic data exchange with forwarding companies Freight cost request for quotation and calculation Handling and processing of ticket requests Daily communication with forwarding companies (e.g. entry certificates, POD's) Interface with warehouse, order management, procurement, demand planning and export teams regarding all transportation’s topics Freight invoice clearing and communication with FIN organization Operational support for handling of dangerous goods Any additional or ad-hock tasks as requested by direct superior Requirements: BS/BA or advanced (University) degree in Business Administration / Finance / Supply Chain or Language (English/German); may be substituted for working experience in the function (i.e. Internship) where applicable Excellent German Language Skills, very good English language skills required as well Previous experience in relevant field required SAP (or similar ERP system ), MS Office, understanding of Workflow and related systems and tools Networking and Communication Skills with peers and Management Customer Orientation (internal / external) Analytical Skills, demonstration and application of comprehensive knowledge Quality oriented and well organized, team player, proactive and anticipative Able to prioritize activities and identify and manage risks What we offer?
