Job Description:
This job is responsible for coordinating with counsel to resolve low to mid-risk mortgage litigation cases knowledge of the default process. Key responsibilities include managing a case portfolio, loan level research, coordination of case strategy, and requests for settlement authority. Job expectations include deposition and trial witness preparation and attending legal proceedings as a corporate representative.

Responsibilities:

• Supports defense of real estate claims and non-litigated matters including contested foreclosures

• Reviews new or reassigned cases received from the Case Resolution Operations (CRO) Intake team and completes case level details in department’s system of record

• Researches attorney’s review and assessment of the case • Reviews and gathers supporting information on document execution requests received from attorneys

• Communicates with Line of Business via email or phone call to gain supporting information that can assist with the resolution of the litigation

• Communicates recommended settlement authority or case direction from attorney to management, while providing own recommendation for consideration

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
