About the Team
The Finance Platform & Technology team at OpenAI builds and scales the systems and data architecture that power our core financial operations. We enable business agility, compliance, and operational excellence across quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, inventory management, and asset management for both B2B and B2C. Our mission is to modernize workflows through strategic integrations, scalable automation, and seamless data flows—empowering smarter decisions, reliable reporting, and sustainable growth.
About the Role
As the Enterprise Product Manager for EPM & Consolidation Solutions, you’ll own the design, configuration, and administration of Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Financial Consolidation & Close (FCCS), and Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS). You’ll partner closely with Finance, Strategic Finance, Controllership, and Business Systems teams to ensure timely, accurate close and reporting cycles. You’ll troubleshoot issues, drive enhancements, and implement best practices that streamline consolidation, metadata management, and reconciliation processes.
This role demands hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud (particularly in ARCS, EDM, EPM, and FCCS modules), a strong understanding of accounting workflows, and the ability to translate technical system behavior into actionable insights for the business.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Serve as the subject-matter expert and system administrator for Oracle EPM, EDM, FCCS, and ARCS.
Configure and maintain metadata hierarchies, validation rules, and security models in EDM.
Design and implement consolidation mappings, intercompany eliminations, and currency translations within FCCS.
Manage account reconciliation workflows, balance validations, and certification processes in ARCS.
Develop and deliver financial reports and dashboards via Oracle Narrative Reporting/EPM Reporting Studio.
Oversee data integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP (GL, Subledgers) and EPM/EDM modules, ensuring end-to-end data integrity.
Troubleshoot system issues, analyze root causes, and coordinate with Oracle support and/or implementation partners as needed.
Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and AI-enabled enhancements across EPM processes.
Train and enable end users on new features, workflows, and best practices.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
6+ years of experience in EPM or consolidation roles, including hands-on administration of Oracle EDM, FCCS, and ARCS.
A deep understanding of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, metadata management, and reconciliation controls.
Experience with Oracle Data Management (FDMEE/Data Management) or REST-based integrations for EPM.
Familiarity with close-process frameworks and financial reporting requirements (GAAP, IFRS).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with a track record of driving system improvements.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical configurations into clear guidance for Finance and Controllership teams.
Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to partner with technical and finance stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
