Broadridge is seeking a Software Developer to design, develop, and implement innovative software solutions to meet evolving technology and business needs. This role is part of a collaborative and agile development environment where you'll contribute to building and improving applications, systems, and infrastructure that drive Broadridge’s success.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, modifies, adapts, and implements short- and long-term solutions to technology needs through new and existing applications, systems architecture, network systems, and applications infrastructure
Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs, documents, and implements software solutions
Provides application software development services typically in a defined project scope
Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
May test new software code and typically works in a highly efficient ("Agile") development environment
Applies a theoretical knowledgebase to work to achieve goals through own work
Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education
May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise
Qualifications:
Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression
Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
Develops competence by performing structured work assignments
Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems
Receives instruction, guidance, and direction from others
