Job Description
The Executive Python Programmer we are looking for works for a business we are very proud of, YouGov Shopper Intelligence. Joining the team that works with top food manufacturers, drinks companies and leading retailers, you will have responsibilities in implementing operational tasks and enhancement of existing processes regarding data processing and delivery for international clients.

You will:
Create applications, software, and provide support in implementing new features.
Document/ comment the written code, rewrite and improve existing code.
Monitor Panel internal processes and ticketing solutions.
You have:
Programming knowledge with a strong emphasis on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) design.
Solid Python programming skills, including proficiency in the Pandas library, SQL Alchemy, or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools.
Experience with Python web frameworks such as Django or Flask.
Proficiency in integrating Bootstrap/JavaScript for front-end development (or willing to learn).
Experience in using rest APIs.
Experience with data analysis and reporting.
In-depth understanding and practical experience with SQL databases; knowledge of non-SQL databases is a plus.
Version control software experience is essential for effective collaboration.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools is advantageous, especially in using the ticketing system Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket for code repository management.
A good command of English, both spoken and written, is crucial for effective communication.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary for collaborative projects.
Demonstrated interest in staying updated with current technologies and a commitment to implementing best-practice methodologies in software development.
