Saronic is seeking a talented Security Engineer to help design, implement, and maintain our organization’s cybersecurity stack. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust

security controls and solutions across our products and systems. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting us from and mitigating risks to our groundbreaking ASV technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Architect and implement security controls across corporate, production, and cloud environments
Design, implement and manage security controls for systems, networks, and applications in alignment with CMMC, Zero Trust, NIST, FIPS, and DoD directives.
Evaluate and harden SaaS, IaaS, and internal applications against real-world adversarial techniques
Partner with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to align security controls with evolving business and regulatory needs
Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and threat modeling to proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
Integrate security measures into the full lifecycle of product development—from initial design through to production.
Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including security protocols, policies, reference architectures and data flow diagrams.
Act as a subject matter expert on cybersecurity within the organization, mentoring team members and providing technical guidance.

Qualifications:

3+ years in IT or infrastructure security roles, with hands-on implementation experience
Strong knowledge of adversary tradecraft and relevant mitigations
Proficiency in general-purpose programming and scripting
Background in managing the security of cloud environments (AWS preferred)
Familiarity with endpoint security, identity platforms, and SaaS hardening
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive projects end-to-end
Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to act independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
