Our DXC Insurance Services support clients in optimizing and transforming operations, reducing costs, and building agile channels for growth. Leveraging our people, technology, and best practices, we improve and automate complex business processes across middle and back offices—while enhancing customer experience transformation.

We are seeking an experienced LifeComm Senior SME with deep expertise in mainframe assembler and DXC IP product LifeComm, with a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of experience in the field, with a strong background in life insurance and system enhancement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support for DXC IP product LifeComm, leveraging extensive experience to deliver impactful solutions.
  • Apply deep knowledge of mainframe technologies, including Assembler, Cobol, JCL, VSAM, and CICS, to maintain and enhance systems.
  • Work directly with clients on-site, managing relationships and ensuring project success in both support and enhancement capacities.
  • Lead and guide teams in adopting Agile and Waterfall methodologies, ensuring optimal project execution.
  • Independently manage and execute tasks across onshore-offshore operating models.
  • Offer comprehensive problem-solving and customer support, particularly in the US Life Insurance domain.
  • Ensure smooth collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance business processes and improve client satisfaction.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with DXC IP product LifeComm, with a deep understanding of its implementation and management.
  • 15+ years of experience with mainframe technologies, including Assembler, Cobol, JCL, VSAM, CICS.
  • Proven experience working on-site with clients and managing client expectations.
  • Strong understanding of the US Life Insurance domain, including product implementation and lifecycle.
  • Expertise in support and enhancement projects in the insurance industry, with a focus on system enhancements and performance improvements.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and practical experience applying them to deliver results.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong independent working abilities and experience in onshore-offshore operating models.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and customer handling skills.

Other Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications or specialized training are advantageous.

Work Environment

  • This role offers a remote work opportunity within the United States, with the flexibility to work from the customer’s location and relocate if required.
  • The candidate should be willing to overlap with the India time-zone for critical business activities and work additional hours (including weekends) to support key go-live activities.
