Our world-class team has delivered sites for over 35 brands, with over 400 transactional e-commerce sites in 60 locations across six continents.
As part of its global expansion strategy, the company has established a key Sofia technology team comprising Software Architects, Developers, QA Engineers, Project Managers, and Technical Support Specialists.
To support this strategy, we are currently looking for talented people for the role of:
Assistant - Resource Management
What You Will Be Doing:
In this role, you'll assist in managing supply and demand across various areas within our organisation. By collaborating closely with different departments, you'll help ensure the timely staffing of teams and increase excellence in client delivery. Your responsibilities will include updating schedules to reflect workload demands, supporting identifying internal talent development opportunities, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders to assess skills and availability.
The Difference You Will Make (Tasks):
1. Produce reports regularly using the Utilisation & Client Insights Dashboard (training will be provided), ensuring timely, accurate insights that will help support senior leadership's decision-making on resource management
2. Assist with data analysis and insights generation based on dashboard information; identify, report on and help troubleshoot discrepancies and errors in data.
3. Help manage resource requests by recommending suitable team members for reallocation across accounts, aligning opportunities with team members' skills and goals based on capacity and demand.
4. Maintain accurate administrative records (Excel trackers) and system updates (Workfront) related to supply and demand, forecasting upcoming demand and resource needs.
5. Collaborate with team members to implement continuous improvement initiatives in resource management and talent development.
6. Help ensure the RM page within the Media Ops online hub remains up to date.
What You Will Bring (Skills)
1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills (over teams and collaborative virtual workshops), working within short turnaround times.
2. Proficiency in Excel (incl. pivots & formulae) and basic knowledge of using Power BI.
3. A keen eye for detail and data-oriented.
4. Exposure to long- and short-term project delivery, alongside ad-hoc urgent requests.
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
It Would Also Be Nice for You to Have
1. Exposure to the media industry or related fields.
2. Familiarity with resource management tools and platforms.
3. Ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic environment.
4. Foundational experience in working with functions (i.e. HR, Operations)
