 How You Will Make an Impact:

The HVAC Technician installs, maintains and repairs heating ventilation and air conditioning systems. They will play an integral part to keep the AC and Heat working at all times throughout our manufacturing sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing routine checks, cleaning filters, lubricating parts and ensuring proper system operation
  • Diagnosing and fixing problems with HVAC systems, replacing parts and making necessary adjustments
  • Identifying the root cause of system malfunctions and developing solutions
  • Communicating with customers about system issues, providing explanations and offering recommendations
  • Following safety protocols when working with refrigerants, electrical components, and other hazardous materials
  • Interpreting blueprints and schematics to locate components and plan repairs
  • Maintaining records of work performed, including maintenance schedules and repair details
  • Working with other tradespeople such as electricians to complete projects

Minimum Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years experience in HVAC related field
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems
  • Ability to assemble, repair, and maintain HVAC components
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve system malfunctions
  • Ability to explain technical issues
  • Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
  • Understanding of safety regulations and procedures for working with HVAC systems
  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants may be required
