The Team:

The Pricing and Purchasing team at S&P Global Market Intelligence is dedicated to delivering critical insights into price, cost, and inflation that empower our clients to achieve significant cost savings. Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Develop, enhance, and expand economic models and forecasts with a focus on data management and model performance.
  • Manage data flows and adapt to changes, ensuring accurate and timely updates to forecast models.
  • Collaborate with the forecast team to support model improvements and address data-related client inquiries.
  • Identify and incorporate new data sources to enhance model accuracy and performance.
  • Liaise with other forecasting teams to explore and implement new methodologies and tools.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MA or higher) in Economics or a related field with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in statistical and econometric modeling, with hands-on experience using EViews and other advanced analytical tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, ensuring clear and effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet competing deadlines efficiently.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, with a proven ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to explore and leverage new technologies and methods including GenAI tools and technologies
