This organisation is at the forefront of surgical innovation, providing state-of-the-art visualisation and workflow solutions that empower surgeons to deliver outstanding patient outcomes. With a strong legacy of clinical excellence and a reputation for quality, they're now looking for a Clinical Application Specialist to support the successful adoption of their advanced microsurgery technologies across the South of the UK.

The Role
This field-based role focuses on providing hands-on clinical application support, training and guidance to surgical teams across NHS and private hospitals. Working in close collaboration with the commercial team, you will help drive the integration of high-performance medical technologies into clinical workflows - with a particular emphasis on neurosurgery, ENT, plastic surgery and tumour treatment pathways.
You will play a key part in the national roll-out of new systems, supporting healthcare professionals in real-world settings, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-theatre support, product training, and clinical demonstrations to end-users
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development teams to assist early adopter sites and drive product usage
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clinical stakeholders and opinion leaders
  • Provide expert insights to help align technology with clinical workflow needs
  • Understand NHS and private sector funding pathways to support successful implementation
  • Contribute to national go-to-market strategies and support post-installation success

Ideal Candidate

  • Degree-qualified in Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Health Science, or similar
  • Strong clinical background - experience in-theatre, surgical assistance, or hospital environments preferred
  • Experience supporting healthcare technology (clinical or commercial support roles)
  • Knowledge of Neurosurgery, ENT or Plastic Surgery is highly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with regular UK-wide travel and flexible working
  • Full UK driving licence required
