- Pay Rate: £13.14 p/hr
- Monday - Friday - 37 hours a week.
- This is a temporary vacancy until December 2025
We are working together with our client, a well-established organisation within the Public Sector to recruit Funding Officers, the positions we have will be Hybrid working and will need to attend the local office based in Newcastle.
You will be responsible for assessing requests for Funding and Managing grants using local knowledge, best practice, thematic expertise and the experience of customers and stakeholders to improve the clients grant making and informed decision making. You will use your strong communications skills to understand what matters to people and their communities, along with knowledge and value behind the client`s vision and products to adapt your approach to suit each customer. Along with projects, management of grants and risk aversion you will be managing your own caseload working with internal and external stakeholders to support organisations to deliver their projects and measure their impact.
Suitable candidates will have
- Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills (Verbal and Written)
- Ability to read and summarise information at pace
- Demonstrate Report Writing and Decision Making
- Ability to analyse information and produce a clear recommendation
- Microsoft experience: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Self-Organisation and Planning due to remote working
