Responsibilities
We’re looking for a deeply trusted strategic partner to work closely with senior executives at OpenAI. This is a highly dynamic role that combines high-level strategic thinking, exceptional operational rigor, and strong interpersonal intuition skills. You will serve as an extension of the executive team, helping ensure they are operating at maximum leverage across a wide range of priorities—from internal operations to cross-functional initiatives to external engagements.
This role involves managing and driving key priorities forward, synthesizing complex inputs across functions, and helping ensure that the executive team's time and attention are focused on the highest-impact opportunities. You’ll work across teams to ensure alignment, clarity, and executional excellence, and act as a thought partner in setting and refining strategies. You should thrive in ambiguity, move quickly and thoughtfully, and possess a strong bias toward action.
The ideal candidate is a systems thinker with exceptional judgment, discretion, and the ability to zoom fluidly between high-level strategy and ground-level execution. You should be highly organized, intellectually curious, and deeply motivated by impact. You should also be comfortable operating with little structure, handling sensitive information responsibly, and navigating complex organizational dynamics with humility and confidence.
