We are currently looking for a Business Analyst to join us on the following project:
Garmin Explore App-Outdoor: We provide our customers online and offline mapping (real-time tracking, trip planning) and satellite text messaging (and other important features like Weather over-the-air) through the Garmin Explore ecosystem. Our SOS satellite communication features rescue people every single day with inReach capable devices.
We believe that collaboration leads to the best ideas, and we rely heavily on team interaction. As a hybrid role based in Cluj-Napoca, this position will require at least 3 days in the office each week.
Summary of the role
In this role, you will gather, document and communicate user requirements for medium size projects of average complexity. Work closely with project team, including product owner to ensure requirements are understood and deliverables are aligned with project objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage user requirements for medium to large size projects of average to significant complexity for products across their strategic channel;
- Identify both basic and ancillary discrepancies and conflicts in application(s) requirements;
- Facilitate reconciliation of business tactical and strategic direction;
- Work closely with project team;
- Regularly suggest improvements to business processes;
- Work with business stakeholders to determine application roadmap;
- Provide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques;
- Partner with product owner, stakeholders and product team in transforming product roadmaps into backlog stories;
- Collaborate with QA team to define test cases and assist testing efforts;
