The Position
As the Hematology Squad Lead, you will inspire and lead a cross-functional and diverse team to develop a shared vision, strategy, ambitions within Roche Hematology portfolio, and a vibrant team culture, driving the team's success. You will bring our customer engagement model to life through close partnerships with stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem. Your key objective is to gain a deep understanding of patient and customer needs to enable Roche to deliver better outcomes to more patients, faster.
The purpose of the Hematology Squad Lead role is to guide a multi-disciplinary team towards achieving Roche's mission to better serve patients and healthcare customers. As a leader and influencer, you will be responsible for aligning your squad's efforts with Roche's strategic objectives, driving innovative solutions in the healthcare space, and ensuring that the team remains agile and responsive to the evolving needs of patients and stakeholders. Your role requires a deep commitment to understanding and addressing the complexities of various products or disease areas and translating insights into impactful strategies and actions. Acting as advocate for high standards of compliance, ethics and safety; putting patients at the center of all actions by consistent business behavior that complies with applicable laws, industry codes and Roche’s Code of Conduct.
The Opportunity:
Lead the crossfunctional team by fostering a vibrant and collaborative team culture to develop a shared vision, strategy, and ambition for the disease area.
Ensures roles & responsibilities are clearly defined within the team, and that team members are both empowered and accountable.
Bring the customer engagement model and develop strategies that address patient and customer needs.
Facilitates clear team strategy and execution, accountable for team success and P&L delivery (including Sales & OPEX targets).
Set clear performance metrics and ensure they are met through regular reviews and feedback.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and act as a point of contact.
Identify and address any issues and utilize problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles and challenges within the team or with stakeholders.
Development of scalable projects above affiliate level through work with other affiliates and in the network
Who you are:
University degree (scientific, economic, or business degree). An advanced degree in Life Science and/or MBA is a plus.
Minimum 10 year experience in the pharmaceutical industry in different roles. Strong leadership and team management skills.
Extensive experience in marketing/commercial or business development roles within the healthcare or related industry.
Excellent strategic planning and execution abilities.
Experience in customer engagement and stakeholder management in Hematology.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
Fluency in Bulgarian. Excellent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Driving license, B category, mandatory.
