Job Description:
The EMEA AWS Sales operations Manager is responsible for managing the operational execution of Ingram Micro’s AWS distribution and reseller programs across the region. This role ensures seamless partner enablement, operational efficiency, and alignment with AWS’s evolving policies and programs.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with AWS, strong program/project management skills, and a passion for operational excellence in Sales & Partner Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Partner Enablement & Support
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for Ingram Micro’s AWS strategic partners across EMEA.
• Provide training, best practices, and guidance to help partners navigate AWS systems, reseller policies, and operational workflows.
• Conduct regular partner calls to communicate updates, process changes, and program modifications.
Program Operations & Compliance
• Ensure clear communication of AWS reseller program updates, risks, and changes to both internal stakeholders and senior business leaders across the region.
• Align AWS reseller operations with Ingram Micro’s internal policies, AWS Distribution, and Solution Provider Program compliance requirements.
• Monitor and manage operational escalations through AWS’s APN ticketing system, working closely with AWS Operations teams (regional and global) and Ingram’s internal global support teams
Internal & External Stakeholder Management
• Act as a key stakeholder in the Ingram Micro EMEA AWS community, providing updates on new operational processes and supporting internal teams on ongoing operational issues.
• Create and maintain an internal knowledge base, including instructional videos, process documentation, and training materials.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with AWS global, regional, and local operational and sales teams, ensuring alignment on business priorities and operational best practices.
Training & Process Optimization
• Deliver training sessions for support teams, sales, and operations related to AWS Distribution & Solution Provider programs.
• Continuously evaluate and optimize internal processes, ensuring partners and internal teams can efficiently onboard, transact, and scale AWS resell operations.
• Identify areas of process improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks in AWS-related workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
Technical & Business Skills
• Strong Excel skills for operational analysis and reporting.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., AWS APN case management).
• Project/program management experience, with a proven ability to prioritize and drive initiatives to completion.
• Ability to re-engineer processes, develop policies, and implement new operational strategies.
• Previous experience in AWS Cloud Operations or APN program management is a plus.
Soft Skills & Team Collaboration
• Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive measurable results.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships with Sales, Product Management, Engineers, Order Management, and IaaS Administration teams.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex operational updates to both technical and non-technical audiences.
