Job Opportunity: Project Support Officer
Location: Bridgwater, TA6 4FJ
Shift Times: Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week
Pay Rate: £122 per day
This assignment is until the end of the year with the possibility of an extension
About the Role
We're looking for a proactive and well-organised Project Support Officer to join our CI/BOP/Turbine Commercial Team. In this vital role, you'll provide high-quality administrative and clerical support to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, initiative, and strong communication are key.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Organise and coordinate meetings, including scheduling and taking accurate minutes
- Prepare and distribute updated documentation and team communications
- Support contract administration and document control processes
- Assist with the preparation of weekly reports using Excel and PowerPoint
Finance Support
- Work alongside the Commercial Manager to assist with budget tracking, invoice processing, cost reporting, and payment administration
General Duties
- Handle incoming emails and occasional phone calls professionally
- Coordinate appointments and manage calendars, ensuring senior staff schedules are aligned and free from conflicts
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with strong organisational and communication skills who thrives in a busy team environment. You'll need to be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks at once.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 - particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Strong typing and word processing skills for document creation and correspondence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Confidence managing spreadsheets and maintaining databases
- Exceptional time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Experience with scheduling, diary management, and arranging meetings
